Prince Harry's Iraq Tour to be Filmed - 17 May, 2007Ministry of Defence (MoD) officials have announced that Prince Harry’s planned tour of Iraq will be captured by a film crew for a TV documentary, despite the Prince not actually going to Iraq himself.
The documentary will be filmed using actor Donny Most, known as Ralph Malph from the series Happy Days.
Dubbed ‘Harry: Prince of the Desert’ the reality-docu-drama will be narrated by Julian Clary, include music from the Scissor Sisters and will be produced by the the Royal Family’s favourite filmmaker, Mr Seymore Butts.
Because of security concerns, the documentary will be set in an army office instead of the front lines. The first episode, entitled 'The Paper Cut' will feature Harry and his men trying to file requisition forms. Subsequent episodes include 'Harry's Battle with Alphabetisation' and 'A Day without the Water Cooler'.
The project will include guest directors from time to time. Week Four will be directed by the producers of the infamous Jackass films. In one sequence the Prince and his mates will nail landmines to their scrotums and then kick each other in the groins.
The documentary will also feature cameos by other reality TV show celebrities. Jade Goody will be brought in to personally interrogate Al Qaeda suspects. Director Butts said, “They'll talk after looking at her. People here are afraid of pigs.”
A special DVD edition of the series will include special features, such as hilarious, unseen outtakes of Prince Harry and the boys playing ‘drop the soap’ in the shower. Unseen bloopers will show the Prince accidentally shooting a bunch of children instead of a tin can whilst drunk. Mr Butts commented, “It took us about 50 takes to get that one shot, which we didn’t even use in the end. We pissed ourselves watching those kids screaming in that funny language.”
